Tanja has more than 15 years of experience representing a large multinational company in various national and international corporate sustainability networks such as the Value Reporting Foundation (VRF), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the UN Global Compact and the Schmalenbach Society.
One of her focus topics is ESG disclosure - be it the strategic relevance at corporate level or the further development of international ESG reporting standards.
Thus she is member of the ESMAs Consultative Working Group (CWG) to the Corporate Reporting Standing Committee (CRSC), the Accounting Standards Committee of Germany's (ASCG) Sustainability Reporting Technical Committee and the Schmalenbach Society's working group "Integrated Reporting and Sustainability Management".
Furthermore, she is actively engaged in the debate on sustainable finance at the European level and sees herself as a mediator between societal and political expectations as well as shareholder interests and the corporate world. Thus, she acts as an interface between finance and sustainability - both outside and inside the company - out of the deep conviction that these two perceived different areas are strongly interlinked.
